FREE STUFF....

I Just love saving money and getting free stuff whether it's samples or whatever it is...

In the last week i have recieved "alot of free stuff" well it seems like alot.

I believe it was Thursday or Friday of last week i got a Package from Proctor & Gamble that had full sized products of the new SCOPE OUTBURST, Glide tooth floss, and crest toothpaste.

Yesterday or the day before i recieved a sample of Dove Oil treatment shampoo/formula

This week i also recieved a Sample of TRESemme Anti Breakage(i think thats the name of it- it's a new line and formula) in the shampoo and conditioner.

Today i recieved and scored a sample of WOOLITE DARK

and last night i signed up to recieve a FREE Animated Nativity DVD from the LIVING SCRIPTURES for FREE!!!!

The craziest yet sweetest thing happened to me today... I didn't know the mail had came till my soon to be bro in law was standing in the kitchen out the front door and saw a box there. I went to check it out and it was addressed to me from Procter and gamble. a couple of weeks ago i had written and asked if they could send me some coupons and "samples" for future use and purchase. I had forgotten about it. In the box was a gift bag full of goodies. Full sized products like "Glide" 3d whitening floss, regular size of crest toothpaste, and a toothbrush! CHA CHING!!! SWEEEET!!!!

Shopping Trip to Smiths- Grocery Guru shop

Tonight my mom had been signed up to go shopping with the Grocery Guru Ken Roseberry. He has been doing this for years. for a minimal fee all the locals can sign up online to go shopping with him at a selected store. Tonight the location was Smiths located at 5620 W 4100 South in West Valley City, Utah. And the grocery guru cuts, and prepares coupons for those who signed up and a shopping list.

Tonight that is what mom did. You will see enclosed within this post some pictures of what we got and our reciept.

i would list every item we got but, probably would take to long. You can see the reciept and pictures. Smiths also has a promotion going on "Daytona 500" Promotion which when you buy selected iteme (10) you get $3 off instantly your order. We were able to take advantage of that promotion. Mom had coupons as well. Before coupons or any discounts came off the total was approximately $57.00 and after coupons and discounts we only PAID $42.77 - we also had an additional savings 0f approximately $26.00 and then our fresh values savings.

Yes you read the title right. Right now Smith's has a promotion going on in honor of the new movie CARS 2 coming out. Where you purchase 5 participating items and when you do you get $5 off instantly your total at checkout.

My mom and i were at Smith's tonight picking up a few items and we saw one of the participating items was baby wipes in a CARS packaging with Lightning McQueen on it. So we picked up 5 PACKAGES because they are normally or on sale or going for $1.99 each.

We got 5 packages of wipes - 5 @ $1.99 each that would bring the total to approximately $10.00 - $5 instant savings for a grand total with tax of $5.29 - ABOUT 50% OFF!!- WAHOO!!! You all would be so proud!!! - Carli you would be so proud as well.

CARDS FOR $0.60 ???

Yep, you read the title right. I went to Smith's today because there was a few cards i wanted to get. With Graduation season upon us and there's always birthday's and other special occassions right? I think i must be the cheapest person alive or something. Because i usually go for the $0.99 cards. Well i had a coupon (one of chose coupons that prints out at the register). It was good for $1.50 off of your shopping trip with the purchase of 3 cards. So i picked up 3 cards. I went to the register and scanned them in and my total came to $2.97 when i went to pay and i selected "PAY NOW!" i had forgotten i also had a e-coupon that was loaded to my rewards card. That was good for $1 off.
here is the scenario.

3 cards @ $0.99 each = $2.97 - $1.00 e-coupon/digital coupon - another $1.50 off your shopping trip when you buy 3 cards = with tax $0.60

I was pretty excited about it.

SMITHS = FREE GROCERIES... WAHOO!!!

My mom and i went to SMITHS today. Yesterday (Friday April 15th, 2011) we went and took advantage of their SWEEEET 4 for $10 cereal sale. When you buy any of the participating cereals and items on that sale at checkout you get a Free $5 Smiths gift card. Which was sweet. For our groceries on Friday we only spent about $9.00

Well by Saturday we needed milk and we also wanted to take advantage of the Triple points promotion on the 2 liters of soda pop. So we got 3 2 liters of Soda pop and some milk. We got our triple points. And used our free $5 gift card. So we got all our items on Saturday for FREE!!!!

I was shopping for a few things with my mom tonight. Just a few items anyhow
we got 2 packs of the snack puddings, 1 dove deodarant, 1 bag of sugar.
for all those items before any discounts and coupons our total would have been approximately $6.00 plus tax.

Well i didn't know this but, i had a e-coupon for $2 off of the Dove Deodarant, and then another manufacturer's coupon for $2 off and there was a fresh values savings of an additional $0.71 so for all those items i listed we only paid with tax $2.25- WAHOO!!! YAY for coupons.

FRESH MARKET DEALS FOR THE WEEK...

I am a member of Fresh Market's email and mailing club. So every week i get a email with coupon's attached that showcases deals of the week. My mom and i usually try to take advantage of the deals.

So this week.. I got a 32 ounce of Smuckers Jelly or Jam (we got the Grape Jam) and a 18 ounce (approx) size of JIF Peanut Butter. so i paid a total of $2.14 for items that would normally be approximately $3.50-$4.00 each regularly priced if not more. YAY for deals and savings.

FREE RED BOX= SWEEEET!!!

So as many of you may know. Orville redenbacher is running a promotion now and it's called "Pop and Win" and on specially marked packages of their microwave popcorn when you pop the pop corn you have a chance to win some instant prizes including free red box rentals. I have one of those packages and since i was in the mood anyway i popped me some popcorn last night and i WON A FREE ONE NIGHT Red Box rental. YAY me... i still have some left so maybe if i am lucky i will win some more prizes tonight.

SWEET DEALS AT HALLMARK...

Yesterday my mom and i recieved some SWEEET deals at our local Hallmark Store in the Valley Fair. These savings are a result of the Hallmark store in Valley Fair Mall closing. As sad as we are to see Hallmark leave we were excited for the savings. All merchandise in the store is 75% off ACCEPT Valentines day cards and items.

So what we got was

3 Valentines Day greeting cards @ $0.99 each
1 Easter singing and hopping bunny @ 12.95 each
1 Easter Tweety Bird (who talks) @ $12.95 each
1 All star DAD Baseball (can't remember that price)
10 Mini/small christmas gift bage @1.49 each
